more likely to be cat/egr valve

i suppose timing belt may have slipped a bit due to the chocolate tensioner roller thingys

Ah rite, i has a similar prob on my old 106, turned out to be the temp sensor undet the bonnet. Didnt put the engine management light on as hadnt broke, was just giving negative readings therefore flooding the engine, prob a similar sensor problem but finding it is a problem. It took me ages and ££'s just to find out it was a £12 part!!!

could be a million things tbh your pissing into the wind with guesses... get a diagnostics done

Does you management light actually work ?... my old corsa had this and the little bulb had went, in the end it came down to the crank shaft sensor... but it can be quite a few things down to something silly like a fuel filter

jolting when coming off accelerator and sluggish were my symptoms
