to cut a long story short:

  • driving to work this morning, 5:30am, something hard and metal + corsa front bumper + big scuffed and cracked mess
  • get home from work, rear lights have arrived, im thinking YES that was quick etc
  • upon closer inspection, turns out they're NOT irmscher, and they ARE damaged in the corners due to appalling packaging

bolted em on anyway

and just emailed seller asking for some, if not all of my money back, and i plan to hopefully fit the smoked indicator/reverse light portion into a standard rear light to create a custom m3 style unit

rant over

Bastard for selling you them as Irmscher when they aren't

I'm not sure if I understand about fitting indicator/reverse light into another light? Or how you will go about doing it?

i plan to get some money back, and/or report to ebay and maybe claim something through them.

its hard to explain with the lights, but if you look at a cluster closely, around the oval shape with the indicator/reverse light in, it looks as though there is a join, which im hoping will come apart under heat/gentle pressure. and then join together to create a red/smoked cluster

They look alright Rob. WHat are they MHW ones or just a copy of the irmscher/MHWs?

That’s ebay for you, cons paradise

think it looks good tbh.... you were quite chuffed when you bought them, shame its end in disappointment

Tell us the outcome hope you get a good amount back, could fund the repair of the front bumper

scuff under the lower grille in line with the passenger light, cracks there as well, both halves of splitter ripped off leaving clips behind so cant fit it back on, also has managed to catch my mudflap and pull that off too, along with the bottom arch bolt
