Seems well built compared to vts, just as fast but dont handle as well.

8K should get you an 05 plate with low mileage, and a few extras like mats, first service. Thats through a dealer so may be able to get cheaper if you go private.

I love mine, but it aint that quick once you get used to it.

the performance on the 1.8 sri is great, i was thinkin of gettin one, but got the 1.4 sri instead for insurance reasons. mine does 0-60 in about 9.2 secs and top end of about 125-126mph, the 1.8 sri does better than this obviously and goes past me quite easily. its a really good car.

For what it is its a good car, dont forget the 1.8 also goes in the Vectra, so in the Corsa its pretty nippy.

I'm hardly flush! Running 2 cars bloody kills me! I'm just at the point now where I have built a bit of NCB up so I don't ned to worry about insurance as much.

Yeah its a quick car, 8 seconds aint slow! And its does fine going along the motorway.

Im not dissapointed with mine, i love it!

Its stupid comparing anything like a clio or a focus to it, as its completely different! You have to decide how much you can afford for a car, what your willing to pay for insurance!

So for around 8k, an 05 plate, and gr 9 insurance you cant go quicker!!

Anything else is gonna be higher insurance, older, less spec, ie no abs, cruise control, or more expensive!!

The way i look at it is, you already got a gorgeous corsa C, 05 plate Exclusive, heated leather full irmscher styling etc, so you would basically just be gettin a car that wont look as nice unless you spend a little on exterior, but you will just have more power, so i would say get summat different, that VTi civic you have always wanted

Prime example, saxo vts, yeah maybe just as quick, so close it aint worth argueing over, but much lower spec, built out of tin foil and group 14?

So the insurance would be much higher! And you aint really gaining anything!
