Got to make a trip to vauxhall 2moro,
but can you buy the sump from vauxhall?

Or is there anywhere that makes these parts new?

vauxhall will really rape your ass for a 20xe sump... its alloy

Got quite a bad leak from oil sump.

As you said its alloy, and somebody mentioned to me that if it was put on incorectly, it could have bent the sump, and would leak.

What do you recomend?
Replace seal and if it leaks again try replacing sump as well?

yeah, 20xe sump gaskets are notoriously crap

i'm using a steel one from an 8v at the moment.
Try rubber gasket bonded to the baffle plate from a x20xev

Hi mate.

Sorry to hear that your having problems with my old corsa

So how is it running besides that mate? i spent a fortune on that engine building it up, replacing all new parts. So hopefully won’t have much problems with it.

I replaced the gasket on the sump twice, second time got a garage to do it. They use two gaskets on the sump, (so the garage told me)

I wouldn't get one from vauxhall mate, unless u have money to burn.

They are known for leaking oil mate, you ask anyone who owns a c20xe they will say theres leaks. Just got to try and keep it to a minimum.
