eco immob engine and loom
pre immob loom
throws up loads of fault codes, wont rev past 5 k
could it be the fact the the engine loom is for a later car and the ecu for a earlier?
not to mention the speedo dont work and there is no 5th or reverse

yeah corsa 808 i think said there is difference's in the loom and so did paul
so a early spec loom shud sort it
as for the gears i have a new mech here and a speedo gear and a cable

yep, looms are different there are quite a few different looms for the x14xe and x16xe engines, ive got 4 different ones....

right ive just aqquired, a x14xe loom from a m reg 1.4 si
no immob
i got the loom full, inc injector plugs
and ecu that matches it, and the knock sensor as i dont know if his engine has one 
do all x14xe's have a knock sensor?

yeah it was, and the knock sensor had 2 wires and the pre immob loom only had one
all fitted now
runs sweet and has no eml
