Whats the best all-round movie editing software? I dont want anything too technical really just something simple and effective

theres a one built in Windows XP dunno if it'll do what your wanting too do

I've downloaded movie maker 2.0, now i'm downloading a .mov to .avi converter! cheers anyway

Pinnacle Studio is simple but effective, getting technical i'd recommend adobe premier elements

adobe premiere - a bit tricky to use at first, but its semi-pro stuff. Then get after effects, to do anything you want like masking etc

Otherwise, if you have a mac, Final Cut Pro or Avid - about the best stuff out tbh
