34 litres done in about 190miles recently, and that was driving it sensibly, well, not thrashing it as its still being played about with.

C20LET btw. I know I know, not what you're after, but thought I'd reply anyway!

30mpg roughly 1.2 16v - a full tank (42 litres i think) does me about 250-290miles

a tenner (at about 91pennies) does me for about 40/50 miles

Petrol prices vary too much so say how much you get to a tenner...

And Dom, how do you manage 30mpg in a 1.2 16 valve?

Gotta agree,

also it depends on where you are driving, are they short trips are they long trips,

is the car getting warm? therefore using less petrol,

also why are you only putting a tenner in at a time? fill it right up,

1.2 16v - 42-45mpg

measuring fuel consumption to £10, £15, £20 etc. is a crap way to do it... as I keep saying everytime one of these threads goes up - fuel prices vary!
