Been reported that these are going to keep rising over the summer months.
I for one simply can't justify splashing out nearly £1/a Litre on petrol, as it just doesnt last long at all.
In my area, the cheapest is 93.9 - which gets 10.66 litres to £10.
Hopefully when this Pipeline Card becomes active, it'll help a bit!
I just feel it's beginning to get repetitive, govenment blaming oil prices - not the huge tax they put on it!
How bad can it get?!

The Labour bloke (an 'Asian') knocked on our door, when he saw we were white, and said we aren't going to vote Labour, he just walked off, didn't even bother asking why etc.

try running my car then.
I use optimax all the time at 99.9p a litre and it only does 18 mpg around town and 37.4 on the motorway gets abit expensive

seriously, who actually cares?
if it bothers you that much get the bus/walk/cycle and stop moaning
you have a car, you need petrol/diesel to run the car, petrol costs x amount, moaning doesnt achieve anything
its like complaining about the price of beer, there are ways to get round paying for it, ie. stop using it, but for most of us thats not gonna happen
just get over it ffs

tbh im actually wondering what the rollout/cost will be for bioethonal fuel as mentioned in this months TV...
104 octane (supposedly) should be nice, and given its eco-friendlyness, should be cheaper, but will most likely cost more due to government...

I think the reason peopl complain is because it's so cheap in most other countries like America

Especially when some of them should die for their crimes, they need not be alive in my opinion. I'm talking serial killers and such like.

but... in america you get shot daily, you have no corners, the cars cant go round corners if they were there
the fact is, we pay shitloads of tax on everything, thats the way it will always be
my point remains the same

i also agree with you in a sense
if you cant afford it, dont run it, simple!
moaning about it wont do a thing, as previous protests and such have proved, they just cause more chaos and further increases in prices (see last years 'panic demonstration')
the only gripe I actually do have is we do pay so much for road tax, fuel duty, etc, but we get nothing back in return, ie, the roads are the worst in europe, but we have one of the highest tax rates.
i think if the government did do better in regards to highway maintenance, it might just improve things to an extent people dont moan, but given the current situation, people moan about anything!

Road tax should go towards the road hence the name "road tax" ...

it isnt the fact of it being expensive, its the fact that its going up. if you could afford it when you started driving, and now its gone up you have the right to moan about it! and how much of the road tax actually goes on the roads?? the roads dont seem to be improving much! just as sport_rich knows!

bass_junkies, the price of everything goes up every year, its due to the way the world works
you dont get people complaining about the rising price of chocolate or jam, these are both luxuries, the same as petrol
if we REALLY wanted to, we could all find a different way to get around, thats my point
instead of aimlessly moaning about it, do something about it, get a bike, stage another protest to no avail, ride a goat, just stop complaining
