i still have a drum setup on the rear of the corsa, and i'm wishing to change to discs.

I'm also wanting to run a single rear brake line through the car with a bias valve, then T it to the two rears....

Has anyone on here done this to their car?

Out of interest why do you want to fit rear disc's? I thought they can make the car unstable under braking?

why not fit bias valve first to see if you can avoid walls first

If fitted right(bias valve) they will improve braking greatly and look 1000 times better

Rear discs aren't really necessary unless you're running big BHP or are intending to do plenty of track days and need the extra braking.

If the bias isn't set up correctly they can make the car unstable under braking as the back end wants to overtake the front.

depends how they are set up

my drums used to lock up under really heavy braking, and they were really snatchy

brosters car has discs and its much more progressive, you can brake harder without it locking

also, with a bias valve, you can adjust the amount of force to the back so it doesnt lock so easy

the bias valve should self adjust depending on the pitch of the front of the vehicle, ie how hard your braking

Get a bias pedal box, you can adjust it for how wet the roads are etc, and the feel of the pedal is awesome

just ordered two bias valves (screw)..... have a bodge master plan to use both in the pug this weekend (trackday) then once i get its single pipe run through the car, take 1 for it, and one for the corsa

Any possible pitfalls over fitting bias valves rather than the standard ballbearing type compensators?

with that setup your not actually put more braking force to the rear your just limiting how much goes to the rear.

I would say a t piece somewhere near the rear beam would work well, as long as you use good copper brake pipe with flexi connectors.
