Went on a bit of a road trip today, first went to Col004's off here to pick up his tailgate off his Corsa. Semi smooth, with genuine spoiler. Really top bloke too, cheers Col

Not the best pic but this is it on his car

Then went through to Wigan to pick up my Softstars, they are a bit scruffy but nothing a re-furb wont sort out. Got them for £410 so i made a £7.87 saving. Thanks to the guy who i bought them off

up to the car....

Should look like this when they are on

Then went through to Cheshire somewhere and bought my mate a 2.2 SRI Vectra

And then when i got home just took a couple of snaps of my dads new car, hes had it for a few weeks now after a few issues hes a bit happier with it.

And i've just got in now, so thats the story of my day with pictures included

That boot has a lock on it still? Or did you get it to loose the rear wiper?

Nice purchases though

I know well Softstars are more in-keeping with the whole styling of the car so it had to be done. I wanted to put them on, one is punctured though and i cant be arsed going fixing a puncture.

Edit: and to be honest Rus your car sold them to me, when i saw them on yours i had to get some.

Yes james, unfortunatly they go for silly money and dont come up often 2nd hand. Plus they are £600 odd quid new so will still work out cheaper after re-furb. I'm happy with em anyway. I must admit i did get carried away with the bidding on Ebay. Said i'd only bid £300 maximum

mine worked out at £455 altogether, thats with 4 brand new tyres though, and 1 rim is brand new. they are £600 new but thats just for the rims, with tyres on top your looking at £850-£900

Todays update, Got the new tailgate on. Well happy with it looks so much better now.

The old non genuine spoiler:

With new tailgate on, wiper removed plus genuine spoiler:

Just need to get the Softstars re-furbished and a bit of paint work sorted then its ready for PVS.

Do you feel silly driving round in a modded Corsa when your Dad has an Aston?

New Tailgate and spoiler looks good. Softstars will be nice also

Not really, just because he has plenty of money does'nt mean he gives me any. I work for him 5 days a week and my wages is all the money he gives me. If i had'nt wasted so much on a corsa i could have a good car now though
