i have heard about this raising the rear of the bonnet so it gets the hot air out, i am not to sure on how you would do this if anyone cares to explain or have pics.. cheers

Does it really make that much of a difference unless you have an LET under the bonnet?

keeps engine temps down, works for me as my fan switch is f*cked.

well a mate of mine does testing on loads of things and when he done it he lost around 7 degrees under bonnet temp i know its not a lot but helps

Had them on the R5GTT and the RS turbo..
look on ebay for bonnet blocks only about £7

is there a noticable difference once you have put them in? other than the heat loss, i mean can you notice it is higher?

just space out the mounts at the back, use thick washers or some sort of thick bar

Definately gets hot air out, also has beneficial side effect:
Air in through grills at front goes out over top of car:
more air over top of car = less air under bottom of car = slightly better stability at speed.
