I've seen this one Metro GTA on the way to college every day this week and had a play every time (only upto the speed limit of course)

Only today I ended up speakin to him. He reckons that they are 10 seconds to 60 and amazing round corners This is obviously not true as even my 1.2 8 valve pulls away from him round the roundabouts is where he kept gaining on me

Anyway what are the stats like on these? Parkers just says N/.A ?

Surely if Rover were guna make a sporty Metro then it wouldn't slower than a a 1.2 8 valve

The Metro GTA was done in both 1.4 16v and 8v.

I used to have a red GTI. God i loved that car! TBH, i reckon it would of quite easily kept up with my Mantzel'd sport.

Was such a fun car.

I also used to have a GTA once. it used to do 0-60 in about 10seconds, pretty nippy considering you used to get boy racers in their one litre novas laughing at your metro... Their faces looked so funny in my rear view. The accomplishment of my life that was
