was fitting my mantzel earlier and iv got the bloody wrong lower inlet

i bought a 1.4 sport one ages ago from performance vaux spares but its not the correct one. It looks just the same as the one thats on my C16XE that uses the big rubber gasket instead of the flat type.

Think they'll take that one back and refund me?

whats wrong with it? it should fit, the bolt holes are exactly the same, should just bolt straight on.

ok, this pic shows the type of lower inlet manifold that would easily fit a mantzel powerbox, not sure what the engine code is but its the one from TV a few years back.

ill put up some pics of mine in a moment chaps

still waitin on the pics uploading to photobucket...

the top of my inlet manifold where the gasket goes to join the mantzel sticks up and a big thick gsket goes on the inside and the other side goes inside the top plastic upper inlet

i ordered an X14XE lower inlet from performance vaux spares centre in january, this is the one they sent me, i did think they looked alike before lol. so iv now got 2 c16xe lower inlet manifolds and i only need 1 X14/16XE lower inlet.

you want an x16xe lower inlet not an x14xe one as the 14 has much smaller poerts!
