2 threads in Geek Day from me in the last 2 days
What cable would I need to play music on my Denon DVD player from my laptop? What's easiest in terms of connectivity and reliability?
I have a 15-pin connector on the side, 2 USB ports and what looks like a printer port (larger connector).
Cheers

becasue if thats the case you just need a 3.5mm jack to 2 phono leads, plus the jack into the headphones socket on the laptop and the phono into the back of he dvd player, if the dvd player doesnt have phono connection just get a scart adapter with phono on it and plug it into that then the scart goes into the dvd player.

yeah thats the one, it's so that i can play the music through the DVD player, not the TV. I guess I'll just have to switch the output on the DVD player when i plug it in.
Cheers mate
