Who's used this before and can name a brand that sets rock solid, I tried Unibond and that drys flexible

I stole some stuff from the builders who are doing our extension... It's really good. You get it from builders merchants funnily enough

ive used like 5 different types and all set solid

wicks sell it

pound shop also sell it

so do kings, machine mart, any builders shops, paint shops etc

only difference is the amount of times it expands, some were like 2 times, some 25 times

If you are making a mould then you should make it from fibreglass or P40...

Use some car wax as a parting compound. You need to use LOADS so that the fibreglass cannot stick to the item you are making a mould out of. So it needs to be a thick white layer. Then slap on the fibreglass...

No, you should use a parting compound like car wax if you are doing it properly.

Well, thats the way I have done it every time I have laid up carbon fibre...
