How is it done?

I'm not actually guna get it done, just wondeirng what they do and how they get rid of chips etc?

well small chips and dents are filled with filler, the larger chunks are filled with a mteal filler stuff at my local place

some are shot balsted before a refurb or just rubbed down. then sprayed or powder coated
