As the subject says really, just wondering if anyones had an Almera , as I've been offered a '96 almera - si, at a nice price and could do with another run around... but know naff all about nissans other than they're built down the road from me in Sunderland!!

Lisa has one off here, petrol is ment to be awesome on them, so if its a run about should be good, its Jap and jap are usually reliable

my missus has the 1.4 almera an its good run around but defo not cheap on petrol but she has a heavy right foot

I had GTi was great handling car and the 2.0 was nippy!! but drunk ALOT petrol and parts are exstortionate!

its the 1.4, I'm being told that parts are expensive and it'll drink petrol; which aint good ever, but'll cost me a fortune doing the cumbria to tyneside and to where ever I'm teaching (Ahem, rambling!)

And now I'm being told that the Almera is one of nissans best economical models - so confused! :lol

Bah, something tells me the corsa may stay as car numero uno!

Like most decent Jap-mobiles, reliable but expensive to maintain!

My brother used to have a 1.6 GLX I think it was about 10 years ago, very nice car to drive and that, but as others have said, likes to drink!
