ive been smoothing my dash and its pretty much done to be honest, the majority of the orange peel affect has been removed. just one question though, what is the best way to get rid of the little tiny bits of plastic that just seem to want to stay attached to it? ive used a fairly rough sander to smooth it down but just have little bits on there. what would be the best type of paper to use? thanks

Sand as best as possible, then Prime it, Sand again, Prime, Sand and repeat this and eventually you will loose all orange peel even the tiny bits that refuse to go lol

thats what I've done on all my painting

rite, ive basically smoothed it! its 98% done! im going to finish it off tomorrow once i get another can of filler primer from halfrauds.

then its ready of paint and lacquer. this may sound like a dumb question but is the filler primer ok to paint ontop of or do you recommend actual primer first?

also, would you say it would be easy enough for me to paint it myself or recommend getting it done at the bodyshop?

Do it yourself without a doubt and yes filler primer is ok to apply straight away.

ok good stuff.

im smoothed the glove box door too, but, where the handle is its a lot harder to get in there and will obviously be a lot harder to paint. how do you remove the whole glove box handle?
