that was about 8:30pm.... do you work at that time of day?

And I solved my oil worries. There is a wee sticker on/in the boot/engine bay saying check oil at 80C and at 900rpm... i was doing it with the engine off Bizzario car

The 911 needs a few wee bits n bobs...

replace boot lid struts... boot wont stay open, or i'm missing the point of something else
Need to fix the clock.
Elec aerial is sticking halfway up
Spring in gear lever

Indeed Adam, and prepare yourself for a hefty oil bill too if you use good stuff, they can hold up to 13 litres.

There's two drain plugs, one in the middle of the crank case and one in the tank in the O.S. 1/4 panel.

Also, if you are going to thrash the old girl, make sure you warm her up gently for 45 minutes otherwise you can generate oil leaks between the barrels and the heads/crankcase.

(the lump is all alloy and bolts together with no gaskets apart from the rocker covers, and uses very low torque settings, hence the careful warm up requirement)

Does it have electric windows? A friend of my dad's has one like that and got let off a speeding fine in France because it had electric windows and the Police were so amazed as they had never seen anything like that before... Oh wait, this was well over 20 years ago

the sti type r is gorgeous mate it a V2 or V3? either way its absolute lovely and if its an M reg has it been face-lifted?

that's how it comes as standard

it isnt tints on a window...its tinted windows....so the windows would need replaced
