gotta get the ms wireless adaptor for it. bout £60 i think
then you need a subscription to xbox live:
silver membership - free
gold membership - £30 per year or £15 per 3 months
you need a gold membership to actually play online

all you need is a wireless bridge adaptor - netgear do some and so does linksys etc Basically it just converts the LAN connection on your Xbox to a wireless connection. Can pick them up on ebay for about 30-50 quid

jsut search ebay for '360 Wireless' that should get you what you want.
Official MS one is about £65 in Game. 3rd party ones will be slightly less as Dom said.

I have this for mine, just plug it in and it worked straight away. That was just a quick search so there may be cheaper around.
