Ive bought some Hi-spec 300mm 4pots but after trial fitting them under the speedlines even with a 7mm spacer they aint gonna fit
who has managed to ft decent brakes under speedlines? post some pics

have they got seperate bells Dave? get some new ones machined to off set the discs more

Thats what it is as they do fit and you dont really have to space them out anywhere nar as much as reylands (with speedlines)as the calipers are smaller in comparison

I had bremsport 4 pots & 308mm disks using an 8mm spacer

you can get some bells made up which are deeper, so the disc sits further away from the wheel, then just alter the caliper braket slightly, and you shouldnt need spacers

Or jst ring hispec and get them to send you the right offset bells

cant be bothered spending more £££'s on new bells
maybe the speedlines will be sold in favour of some wheels that actually allow proper brakes to be fitted.

Just ring hispec and talk to them they are just up the road from me and they are quite helpfull

I think its mad as Adam Kindness managed to get 300mm brakes behind 15's all be it prorace 1's

ive got 4 pots and speedlines they fitted with a 6mm spacer....
did scrub on 3 mm bt now its fixed nicely.......
try find a pic in my gallery or im on a couple of peoples pvs pix

My Reylands needed spacers but im told his later kits were better. If the usher hadn't done some magic on them they wouldn't of fitted behind the 17" MO's without spacers, so the early kits I think were a bit poor.
