EML lights keeps coming on whilst driving.
Only occurs when giving the car short/sharp bursts on the gas or when you go through the gears, reving round to the red.
Has been plugged into tech 2 and got the same fault code when i did the paper clip test at home. Came up with Cam Sensor position sensor, something like that 
Anyways had a new cam sensor installed (£130), New cambelt and tentioners (£140) and am now running out of ideas.
Car is a 1.6 16v sport (R reg, 98) with 65k.
Any other ideas of possible problematic areas??? thanks

oil sensor probs - as you rev it to the red the high pressure sucking the oil from the sump confuses the sensor ... sumthing along those lines

could that explain the large amounts of oil my car drinks??
I have to top my oil up regulary and is smoking in the mornings when cold, or not been used, is fine after that

Sounds more like the head gasket if its burning oil?
