Disagree completely!! Paid far too much for both in terms of transfer/salary!!
IMO it will be whoever (out of Man Utd/Arsenal at present) who signs Franck Ribery...looks a quality player!

Robbo, I agree with that but I wasn't talking that deep (salary / wage) I meant purely on football skills.

I never doubt Wenger, he knows what he is doing and im sure he will sign atleast another player before the season starts. He deffo has a eye for talent and unlike chelski we dont need to spend silly money on transfers or wages!

Personally I beleive the best signing so far is...
Morten Gamst Pederson
He signed a new 4 year contract at Blackburn so technically could be said a new signing...
He is one of the most underrated players in the premiership IMHO...

Signed him, couldn't get a work permit, had to loan him out and wait it out a season till they could try again, still not 100% on what's happening with him. Yeah brilliant signing that, well done Rafa lad!

Valencia getting Nando from Liverpool. He's extrememly well suited to the Spanish game and would work superbly well with David Villa. Get in...

Money talks! If Man Utd cough up a good amount, he'll also want to further his own career by moving to a bigger club.

thats true, if he wants to leave he'll slap in a transfer request and lets face it, who would want to keep a player who's not willing to play for the shirt anymore

Chillie are in the top 70 now (63rd I think) so that should get him the work permit. Plus with his performances in spain since Jan and his ability to get a Spanish passport this summer (Spanish Grandma) he will be playing for us next season.
Plus it was an excellent bit of business by rafa getting him when he did. If we had waited until he was fit and tried this season he would of cost twice as much and would of had more competition trying to sign him.
