Discussion in town last night as to why we support the teams we do, with some people no matter what answer you give you're labelled a glory supporter! My reasons aren't that good, and neither were some of theres to be honest!
Me, Manchester United, I've supported them since I was 9. No real reason, everyone picked a team when we were at primary school, so maybe I am a glory supporter to some extent! But thats how kids start supporting teams today, you pick a successful team, why choose a team that isn't doing well!
One lad supported Middlesborough as it was "near" a town he came from! One was a Liverpool fan and all he could mention was Hillsborough and the best? One supported Aston Villa because when he was little he liked the strip!
Why do you support your team?

I supported Everton as a boy but intnhe early 90's I turned off football completely but I was watching MOTD in 1995 when bergkamp/Wright were playign together for Arsenal and I was stunned by how good they were so I started to support them, then the next year Wenger comes in and the year after that we win t'Double!

Exactly! You saw some good football and started following them! You wouldn't decide to support a team that played badly would you!!!
I'm waiting for Chelsea fans to answer

sorry have type posh for Marc or else i get told off
As a kid i jumped on the bandwagon. my bro's best mate was a big blackburn fan & i used to look up to him so i supported them. but when shearer left i became a newcastle fan. they were an ok team but look at them now! so i could say the reason i support newcastle is because of shearer

Ipswich as I was born and raised here, also support Inter Milan as there used to be a player called Ivan Zamarano that played for them who I thought was awesome, so followed Inter because of him.

Came from Family
Grandad's brother used to play for Hudders so that led my Grandad to support them, he took my Dad, then my Dad took me.
Been a season ticket holder for 17 years, and will be until the day I die
