i want to experiment with different colours on my B, but i dont really know how to use photoshop

if someone could tell me what to do to change the colour in a selected area, that would be cool

or... if you fancy having a bash at it for me....

right, im after a few different things really, which is why i wanted to do it myself.

i'd like it Imperial Blue (or thereabouts)
then back half blue front half yellow, with a diagonal split up the door/rear quarter
then blue and yellow the other way round (blue front yellow back)
then BMW Silver Grey

like i say, it might be easier to tell me how

If you go into the image-adjustements menu and select hue/saturation and select the colours you want to change from teh drop down box (ie yellows in your case) then alter the hue and saturation until you get the colour you like.

To do two-tone you will need to have a copy of the layer on top and cut away some of it (ie the front half if you want to change the colour of the back)

me too, and that would make more economic sense, as the front doesnt need painting, the back does though

bay and interior will be going anthracite

will probably have all of it painted, so its nice and flat

so it all depends on cost really, it might be substantially cheaper to do it all one colour
