So far I have been impressed with the WC, I think the new ball is a great hit (poor keepers) and the poorer teams have been impressive.
Trinidad, Ivory Coast, Mexico / Iran, Ecuador, Serbia & Angola all playing well and giving as good as they get!
Could be a good WC this one, also been some smashing goals (mostly the germans though)

Yeah changed it now mate, realised that as soon as I added it. Meant to put Angola.
Yeah I agree. That was a great game and I thought Ivory Coast played very well!

Yeah I agree with that Sooty, was impressed with them aswell.
Although to be honest I think England were slightly poor and Sven's tactics didn't work, neither did the heat!

The 2nd half really baffled me... i dont understand why the 2 poorest players of the squad came on in replace of 2 of the best ??? very confused

I think owen is still about 85% fit so I can understand taking him off.
However I can't understand bringing on Hargeaves, IMO if he want's to play the risk and hold onto a 1-0 victory then it should of been Carrick.

I think Rooneys going to have to do the business shortly... its not as if we can rely on Crotch

I don't think we can Rooney with his foot / match fitness to be honest.. He isn't a magician so I don't see why everyone is waiting for him to perform miracles.
I know people slate me for it but I think Defoe should of been picked, he is what we need!!!

The Mexico v Iran game impressed me, very good football from both sides.
None of the other matches have made an impression on me really.

Yep enjoying it so far and still to see some of the big names..
Just goes to show you there are no easy games in international football no more when you see how the smaller teams are performing.

Ivory Coast IMO are the best team I've seen so far, Argie Bargies are gay.
