Hi,

Got bored of my corsa and want something faster.

Willing to spend upto about 18k on a car, want something quick, that looks nice.

Gone off fibreglass body kits etc now, far too much messing around after incidents with curbs etc

Baring in mind im young (19 in july) will have 1 yr NCB and full license for over 1 year.

Looked at a3s, astras, seats etc.

Just wondering what peoples suggestions are

Thats alot of cash to spend that Mate.

I would probably go for a 350z think for that money.

Or a brand new Astra VXR or Focus ST

im not bothered about paying money for the car, getting bent over and shafted on insurance is another thing

No were would insure me on a ST, one place quoted me 8k a year for insurance on a vxr.

Dont forget he only has 1 year ncb. Insurance on some of those will be mega £ - dont see much point in spending a few grand on insurance...how about fiesta st, golf tdi, mini cooper?

shop around. my mates 21 and is insured on his 06 plate focus ST for £900 fully comp! (he does have 2yrs ncb though)

To be honest your not going to be able to insure anything worth having for £18k (imo) so if I were you id hold off spending that much until you can!!

However if you shit £20 notes & money isnt a problem get new civic sport or something

I cant be ar*d with my corsa anymore, too many problems with nasty fibreglass bumpers, cracks, low profile tyres. Bored of it now, want something new.
