How do everyone, decided i should say hello.

My name is mark, i used to own a manta, there, thats the name bit out of the way.

at the moment i have a calibra 16v, and due to debt & stuff, im in the process of buying a 1.2 corsa for 200 quid (pick it up sat).

Now, the plan was, get it, help save insurance, petrol, maintenance.

insurance is down from 600 to 200 a year, bonus!

petrol, got to be better than the calibra

maintenance, 150 quid for a full service on calibra (got all the parts via tradecard & fitted them myself)

so, corsa 1.2 here i come.

oh wait, who has been putting ideas into my head.

ok, yes, i will buy a 1400 16v, some suspension, wheels, make a side exit & tidy the car up.

Damn.

well, i'm saving in the long run anyways

anyhow, hello, im mark, i shall be pottering around in a 1.2 corsa for a few weeks, hope to have the 1400 in, and suspension & wheels sorted for billing, might even get the bumpers & arches painted met black to contrast the red paint before then too.

yes, dont start with the silly jokes, it looked daft, but thats my own fault for going to car shops still pissed!

Yep, that was mine

it went to ireland, kid sold it, new owner crashed it, turned into a drift car, engine & box got put into a rwd starlet rally car, that won lots of events, now the shell is abck up for sale!

Yeh, she's got more in here yet, someone needs to buy the shell & get a decent motor in there. used to love that car, but she emptied my wallet all the time, so had to go, had cav gsi, rs turbo, calibra since then.

It had a let in, but it kept causing problems, plus, coming off billy mill roundabout in the wet, and coming on boost, leaves to staring at the armco for 500 yards lol!
