Im needing a little help guys, i need to know what kind of equipment am i going to need to wire this up, i know a wiring kit but like what 1 and what fuse... and do i need distribution blocks?
I am going to be wiring this equipment up:
2x FLI Trap 12 Active (Sub with builtin Amp)
1x FLI Loaded 800s (Amp for comps & 6x9s)
Also will be using this head unit: Sony CDX F5550
What sort of equipment am i going to be needing to wire these goodies up... as in fuse sizes, what wireing kit... distribution blocks.
Also, how will i wire this up as the head unit only has 2 preouts and wont i need like 4, 2 for the sub amps and 2 for the Amp for speakers.
Hope someone can help.
Cheers

the subs are rated @ 20 amps each
the amp is rated @ 25 amps x2
so thats around 90 amps peak
your need a pair of Y leads to split the rca's to subs

100 amp should give you a good over head if you upgrade in the future
you either want 0 or 2 gauge (2 gauge if hard to find)
0 awg wiring
0 awg 4 way fused dis block
4 x Y leads F - M x2
2 x Rca's
cabling from the dis block to the sub's/amp
fuses for the dis block another bits and pieces ( i may of forgot something)

since been edited so forget the short rca's
i would say 2 x 20 amp (one for each sub) and 1x40 for the amp that means you have one spare for another amp, EQ or DEQ ect
have a look here this explains caps, cable and things
http://www.icecavern.com/faq.php?cat_idx=1
lower the gauge = bigger the cable = more current/ampage it can carry

most online shops will stock a dis block all you do is wire the 0 gauge in one end and it splits into 4x 4 or 8 gauge the other with a fuse inbetween
as for the rca's you only need 2 from the head unit to the boot as you only have 2 preouts on your headunit then use Y leads to split the the Rca's 1 pair (left and right) to each sub and 1 or 2 sets to the amp (depending if your amp can run all 4 channles for one rcacable you will only need 2 Y leads)
Edit. you will also need a dis block for the grounds/earths
If you like i will draw you a diagram ?

just some quick diagrams done in paint. As for the dis block it depends what you go for either the 0 gauge or 2 gauge cabling
