Big V6 stoppers are on finally! Didn't fancy my chances me fitting them so paid my mechanic £30 to do it for me. Feel a bit spongey currently but jus need alot of bedding in. They look

Yes i did. Goodridge ones. The guy said he braided the rears? Is this possible?

yeah, the goodridge kit comes with 4 hoses, one for each brake

if its still spongey after bedding in, get the brakes bled again

mine were never spongey, and my car started out as a 1.4, so it will have the same servo and master cylinder as you

Yeah I will do. My mechanic said that if they are still spongy after 50-80miles then go back. He bleed the brakes twice too!!

Painting the drums silver to match the car. Cant wait to get the 15's back on. Just need to find some time to refurb them tho!!

Brakes cost £215 for Discs, pads and calipers. then £45 for the braided hoses, and £15 postage.
Didn't want the rears think the fronts are enough.

my breaks are sponget and I only have 2.0 calipres I have tried braded hoses 2 servos's and 2 master clylinder still the same!! Im now looking into pedal boxes for when the 4-pots go on

strangely i found my v6 callipers less spongey than my 2.0l ones but cant think of any justified reason why!

Drove for bout 50miles today. Feeling much better on the way home. They may be ready for some heavy breaking soon.

Will need a few more miles on yet before you should use them hard mate
