TBH if I could afford either I'd go for the VXR just for the engine note compared to a transit van
If I was doing a load of miles then I'd consider it though.

I'd take the 888. Looks alot nicer, is more exclusive and MPG will be better

Although very much reduced, it still has typical diesel noise to it.

888 is a better car all in all then going by that video, handling looked better. Think I would choose 888 over VXR.

Isn't the suspension the same/similar?
TBH it was probably because the man was an ex touring car driver or something whereas VBH is just an ugly slapper
The diesel would also be heavier upfront due to it being an oil burner, can't imagine that has a positive effect on the handling....

dont judge them until you've been in both. i've been in a VXR, and it was crap, didnt feel fast, and seemed really tacky. I've also been in an SRi120CDTi, and it seemed much better, even though it had half the horsepower, it was better on economy, and didnt look as stupid. the 888 is an SRi120CDTi with more power, so i woudl say its a better car than the VXR
i think people need to drop the whole "diesels are noisy and smelly" arguement. 5 years ago, yes, they were, but not now, they are so much better.

Do you know the weights of the respective engines either Ry_B to make comments like that or are you just talking total garbage like you usually do?
