if you're taking off an alloy to clean the wheel and inner arches, what nm should you torque your alloy wheel bolt to when putting the wheel back on?

i'm investing in a torque wrench to use on a few things.
thought it might be useful to use tightening alloy wheel bolts back on

its one of the halfords professional ones that i was going to get.
next quick possibly stupid question...
having never used one before, what happens exactly when you've tightened the bolt to the specific torque?!

get a trade card, tools are up to 50% cheaper. I paid half price for my torque wrench.

how to get a trade card:
1. make a letterheaded piece of a4 paper (make up buisness name) i.e a-z garage
2. make sure you put your home tel number on there
3. go into halfords while they are busy (sat afternoon)
4 have someone ready to answer phone saying "a-z garage"
job done.
they hardly ever ring the number anyway but they have been known to. less likely to if its busy hence point 3
