OK, so we will undoubetdly be one of the favourites to land the Euro Championship so what can we predict at this stage?!

Robinson

? Ferdinand Terry A.Cole

Lennon Gerrard Hargreaves J.Cole

Rooney Walcott/Defoe

Right back?? Can't see neville staying on after this?

Beckham??

Strikers??

Lampard?? Very very poor tournament and I think he will be 30 going into the Euro 2008!

Walcott??

Michael Owen??

I agree about Neville, he even said on the news that he wished he was in Rooneys situation as time wasn't on his side anymore. What will he be, 33-34?

I can see Michael Owen playing but I have a feeling it will be his last major international appearance.

Perhaps if he does well at portsmouth, good news he didn't go to Holland

I think Michael owen has a lot to prove as bar the early months at real he has not played great since Liverpool days!

I think you're right Marc - 33/34 for GN... perhaps Luke Young?

The good thing I feel is, although Im gutted and really thought this would be our year, we played crap and didn't really deserve to go through.

Would of been worse if we played really well and went out.

Just hate the thought of going out to the cheating foreign Ronaldo

True, but again - like 2002, had we got through you could say we could arguably, on paper, beat all the remainign teams!!

Most deffinatley. The germans always win pens and nearly every pen was in top corner.

We had absolutley NO confidence and didn't even hit them cleanly. Ricoardo is a superb shot stopper and we should of hit them hard which is what Lampard and Gerrard can both do but they was too nervous.

IMO Lampard shouldn't of taken one, I know it's easy to say now but I have never seen him so low BEFORE the pens and when he missed it looked like Gerrard was crying so that messed him up aswell.

I would guess he said he didn't want to. Not only cos he missed his last pen for England but on the day it's not always about if your good at pens its about can y ou take the pressure and are you up 4 it.

There decisions can change a lot from on the training field to the actual day.

Its also no coincidence that the only English penalty taker to score plays in Germany, trains in Germany, preactises penalties with his German team mates.....

I think there will be some huge changes in the team for 2008, Strikers especially. Owen is on his way out now, make way for the younger strikers. Defoe is still one of the best English strikers and will only get better in a great Spurs team, Darren Bent has what it takes if he is given a chance and Andy Johnson now playing for a good team will show just how good he is. Also walcott should get a fair chance with arsenal this year but i think he could prove more fruitful on a wing, Walcott and Lennon would be so pacy and dangerous. We have the players available, its whether Mclaren can get them working as a team that plays to every players strengths.

Robinson
Right back? Terry Ferdinand A Cole
Lennon Hargreaves Gerrard J Cole
Rooney Crouch

It will be something along the lines of this

Beckham, campbell, neville will all be 33+

Lampard, ferdinand, carragher will all be 30+

Might start to see the likes of King, dawson, wright phillips, defoe, walcott, O'neill, downing, carrick and Bent get closer to the first team.

Disappointing how this generation has been wasted though.

Right back could possibly go to a young 19 year old at Arsenal called Kerrea (sp) Gilbert. Played a bit for the first team last year but got injured against West Ham when we lost 3-2 at Highbury. If He can get into the team sometime next year then maybe he could be in contention for the Euro 2008 squad.
