I was just having the same discussion at work, I seriously doubt Rooney would do that, he is just trying to cover himself when he comes back to England, its not like Rooney is going to come out and say "I never said that I'm actually gonna beat that spic cnut up when I see him next"

I'd pay money to see what happens when those 2 turn up at Carrington for the first day of pre season training. (if Ronaldo's still there)

I dont think Ronaldo has done anything Rooney wouldn't have had the roles been reversed.

running over and brandishing an invisible card, makes me sick and they should automatically get yellow cards themselves.

If there's any justice in this world, FIFA will investigate and punish Ronaldo. He'll miss Portugal's next game and they'll lose. That'll teach the fcuker

I thought the same Mike. Who says Man United fans don't support England anymore? What a stupid thing to say. It angered me what happened on saturday, not because of England being knocked out of the World Cup, but because Ronaldo betrayed his Man United team mate. I know they were playing for their conuntries but theres still team loyalty, or atleast I thought there was.

Majority of UTD fan I know cant stand England since around the mid 90's. Think it all stems from the "Stand up if you hate Man U" songs that were sung around Wembly. Also the shit Beckham had to put with after France 98, all the shit Phil Neville took after Euro 2004.

Way they see it is that it always seems to be UTD players that make the headlines for the reasons after major tounaments (IE Rooney & Ronaldo) then the whole country do there best to make there lives hell in the next season.

Im not a UTD fan BTW, just going on most of UTD fans think of England

Ronaldo has done something very simple.

He wants to Leave Man Utd.
Game vs England perfect opportunity to sell the deal to Real.

He has now made himself totally unplayable in the country.

He has done what he has set out to do.

i follow both club and county being man utd and england, ronaldo will stay at man utd next season, come on as if sir alex is going to sell off one of his prime assets over this!

to be fair it was the 'stamp' that got rooney sent off not ronaldo but he was out of order for what he did, its the press blowing things out of proportion(ie the sun) and everyone looking for someone to blame...... the same as every world cup

He wished me the best of luck in the World Cup. He told me we had a great team and that if we continued to play like this, we would go far.

Bollocks he did
