take it apart, and label every bolt/clip etc in sandwich bags
work your way up from the bottom, do the head last
just replace everything you can be arsed to

Make friends with someone who works in engineering so you can get your blocked bored out, ya bottom end and fly wheel lightened and balanced and your head skimmed on the cheap

got a c20xe xe in the car atm so this one is to be modified. atm mines got decat, chipped ecu,IK and exhaust system, altho after lookin at my new engine, i think mine might have an enlarged throttle body also!

cams are the best thing to add to it if you are rebuilding. and balanced crank so it revs better.

its goin in mine as i dont know the millage on mine and i wanna build a more powerfull engine for it then i will put it in mine, then rebuild the old engine and put it in me gf's if she still has it then lol.
are courtenay cams negood? they reprofiled some cams for my old gsi but the car was burnt out before i could fit them
