Sounds like Juve could be out of business... called to be dropped to Serie C with a point penalty and they are a listed company so could go out of business!
AC Milan (), Fiorentina and Lazio called to drop to Serie B and a points penalty!

You have no idea how proud I am to be a Inter fan to not have them involved in it all.

You really think the Italian football industry would sustain a hit like this.
Not likely.
Big fine perhaps.
Drop them out the top league - never, can you even begin to comprehend the effect on the economies in those areas?

like teddy said, it would damage the economy too much for them to be punished worse than a fine and some points

Capello has already resigned as manager of Juve, the first of the rats abandoning a sinking ship.

I think there is a chance that the Italian FA might do it to show that they take this kind of thing seriously and send out a message worldwide (as everyone knows Italian football is corrupt), I doubt Juve will end up in Serie C1, more like Serie B with a fine - kind of like a half way between what is recommended and a slap on the wrists, I personally I think that all clubs and players involved should get the book thrown at them, think of the knock on effects that their match fixing and bribery has caused.

Think about if that happened in this country - Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal dropped out into the championship.
The sport would not be able to take it - simple as.
They will threat it- but im telling you it wont happen.

Fiorentina and Marseille had the book thrown at them before, albeit under slightly different circumstances but I think this could well happen.

Those four clubs have easily enough financial clout to ride out a couple seasons outside of the premiership.
I don't doubt the same can be said of the Italian clubs in question

Its not a question of the CLUBS financial clout - its about the sport itself.
Attandances would drop, shirt sales and share prices would plummet, it doesnt affect the CLUBS on their own - its the whole sport.
I agree they should be punished but im confident they wont be dropped leagues. Not clubs of this size that are also important to European football.
