The popular threads feature is not activated for this board. In order to activate this feature, the forum administrator must include one of our trackers on the forum pages.
Can see it now "the special thread"

You need over half a million posts to get on the list.

I know Ian has said many times before that when we reach number 1 is when we start taking over the interweb... and then the world. The plans are all there!

We've been around the 270-300 mark for ages, doesn't go up much as there are other sites growing at the same pace. There's a big boards forum on which all the webmasters talk about admin type stuff, the guy from Nexopia was talking about his site the other day, he's now got 17 full time members of staff to do all the jobs, site is hosted on a rack of servers, think he's up to about 15 machines. Makes CS with 2 look rubbish
They were talking about how well known the places were, I said I can generally go to a car show and talk to people, he said he walks around shopping malls in Canada and teenagers come up to him randomly out in public to say hello. Crazy.

Not currently collecting stats though so they probably want to be a few places higher. That normally happens if they redesign the site and the figures move about on the page, the BB bot can't pick them up.

Ian, how many members are still active? Like how many have posted say in the last 6 or 12 months? Would be interesting to know...

6 months - 2551
12 months - 3315
There's quite a large proportion of users who haven't actually made a post ever, who I'm expiring gradually, hence why the member total doesn't go up too rapidly and occasionally goes down according to the big board stats. Ideally the total member figure should reflect the active population.
