He deserved it tbh.
Ronaldo didn't do anything out of the ordinary, especially after watching it again now.
It's the English media as usual.

Agreed, baiting and winding up on the pitch, protesting for cards/diving allover is all normality in the game of football now, you've just got to hope Fifa come out with something to prevent it.

I think Ronaldo grew up watching English football from the 80's. Probably where he gets his feet stamping tantrums etc from

Ronaldos behaviour wasn't a disgrace.
It was nothing out of the ordinary.
If somebody fouls a team mate most players go up and say something about it.
That's all ronaldo done.
Rooney started pushing like a little girl and caused it himself.
Good thing to put the blame on loosing though.
Nothing to do with 3 guys bottling it when it came down to the penaltys.

your not allowed to go and say something to the ref.. and that 1 little push is hardly worth a red when figos headbut was a yellow and deco chopping down a dutch player is worth a yellow, inconsistant refere'ing

Can't agree on that. Is diving part of the ordinary game?

Play acting? Moaning?

Nah, Ronaldo isn't a disgrace for what he did to Rooney only, but for his overall cheating..diving, moaning, pressurising the ref, headbutting Rooney before the match, falling like a rotten fruit every 2 mins of the game, er....etc...and then he comes and states that the ref for Portugal-France was bad

His TV set is probably jammed on Gazzetta Football Italia

Figo's headbutt went unseen from the referee, although you can never blame a penalty taker, the time didn't do enough in general to prevent penalties.
