I get the feeling looking around that alot more people now than ever supoort their local team.
I myself have always been a Hatters fan (Luton Town) Seeing as i was born and bred there.
*nath has the same story i believe.
I know OJC loves Reading *cough* Ipswich.
Plus numerous Southend (Greg), Norwich, WBA etc.. Supoorters
I think its really good for the game

My local team are rubbish!!! They once beat Man United at Wembley and gotpromoted to Div 2. All down hill from there and back in to Div 3! Down and out in the Conference now!!! They were bought by an ex Touring Car driver who tried to link them with his team by adding a chequered flag to the badge. He also marketed them for America and changed the name to York City Soccer Club He ran out of money and they changed thier name back to Football Club. They started off really well last season and were in with a chance of the play offs for the first half of the season. Then they went back to their old ways and ruined it! Just missed out on the play offs.
May go watch them in a friendly against Leeds United next month though

Yep I think its great for the English game, if people didn't follow their local teams the English game would be in a state.
The premiership has got out of control in many ways and getting a ticket nowadays is virtually impossible / expensive. When you do get a ticket a day out to a premiership club (mostly london) works out at £100+

Big clubs are crap and boring.
I've never been tempted to support anyone else.
