Hi every1
I've got a 1.4l 16V sport corsa and have just recently bought a laserline 210 locking interface kit to upgrade me C/L it. However I know that the red wire is 12V perm feed and black is ground etc. But wot the ECU has also is a 12V feed for the ignition. So is it possible this kit may be able to activate the vaux. standard anti-theft system when it locks/unlocks?
BTW its a Laserline 210 kit. Has anybody used these before? Would like to know which wires on ECU loom shud I use to wire up the lock/unlock wires on C/L loom?
thanx

help.. just about to wire up the new ecu to vuax ecu when I removed the
earth from the vaux ecu and it touched the red/yeloow drivers switch wire.
there was a pop but the worrying thing was I checked the fuses and even though the fuse blew
up when I replaced it the C/L was still not working?:O:O:O:O:O:O Do you reckon
I may have screwed to the C/l module or drivers switch?
please help me

you have killed the c/l module i would think
i dont know how your splicing you cables. i normaly go 2-3 inche back from a connector cut the outer sleeve of the cable in 2 places about 10-15mm apart remove the bit of sleeve twist the new wire around the existing wire then solder it up and lastly tape it up making sure the tape is tight as you wrap it around

K flash, I found out the drivers switch was faulty got that replaced. now works a treat!
however I would like to know how I can work the deadlocks so the anti-theft system is activated as well. Looking at the tech sheet I dont know whether it is the starter or ignition immobiliser is responsible.
Can you help out?
cheers

neither !!. The dead locks are controled by the c/l module
it very complicated to do the deadlocks with out understanding how thay work
The drivers door lock actvates all the dead locks on the car. The drivers door is only deadlocked by the key (it has a mechanical deadlock not electrical like the rest of the car)
so even if you did get the remote deadlock to work the drivers wouldn't be dead locked anyway
there are ways around it but its too complex
