Its never worried me TBH.

Many moons ago I took my contents insurance out with the mortgage.....its about £30k of cover and costs about £6 a month

If I REALLY looked about im sure I could get that down...would it be worth my effort to save about lets say £12 a year?

I doubt it.

Im with the nationwide BTW

Norwich Union are reasonable. Can include cover away from home quite cheaply as well.
