Walked past two identical looking Corsa C's today, parked side by side. They were both exactely the same as fas as I could see... year (55) bodywork, paint, wheels etc. One was badged as normal 'SXi'. The other was badged 'SXi+'.
What's the difference? I've never seen the SXi+ badge before

Wondered that at the time. It didn't have the nicer SRi alloys tho, or any visable extras over the bog standard SXi next to it.

there is no 100bhp engine, the 1.2 16v is 80bhp, the 1.4 16v is 90bhp, and the 1.8 16v is 125bhp. The SXi gets the 1.2 and 1.4, the SXi+ gets the 1.2, 1.4 and 1.8

It's not the new name for the SRi?!!!
SXi+ Is the same as the SXi except that it has half leather trim and black tinted rear windows. They both share the same engines and all other trim etc.

Pretty sure they do? Seen them on up to 2005 plates so far anyway?
If not them I'm wrong Just wish Vaux wouldnt keep changing their "branding" SRi sounds far better than SXi+ imo!

guessing vx and opel ran out of parts for the sri and would cost too much to manufacturer another lot.
went to me local VX dealership a few days and noticed a few c's in the show room with plenty of irmy bits. getting rid of excess stock?

The Sri was a limited edition apparently, but we should see it again. They've only done Sri's up to 2005 now its only SXI+ as the sporty model so thats why they say its the "new" sri

Hamman, the SXi+ is the SRi replacement as its the only Corsa with the 1.8.
I hope Vauxhall drop the DCVCP 18XE engine into the Corsa D. makes sense

In a way the sxi+ is the replacement for the sri as they did only make the sri upto 2005. However its not a straight replacement as it doesnt have all the same spec as the sri.
