i was on a private road the other day me and i mate doin 80 him in a vts me in the c20xe and we both put our foot down and his slowly starts to pull on me till about 100 then mine pulls on him. it happened a few times now cars i think a c20xe would leave, it just hasn't. is my car down on power or me not trashing it enough

my car is basically std, with a big sub box in the boot but vts's dont really cause a problem.

A Xe should piss on a Vts if ur driving it proberly

yeah it's just got a filter and full system still got cat on. i know ive got the kit wheel and boot install but i think thinking vts wouldn't b a problem

i think a;; your ice will slow you down, also vts will prob keep up till about 80mph, as for changing gear 6000 is about right by 7000 your losing power

and 3 folk in the car...

the VTS must have been about 1100kg...

your car 1200kg or so.....

A power range on a Xe is 3.5rpm to 6.5rpm after that it wont pull as hard..

mine slaughters vts's!!! but mine has no interior and i can drive, recently though mine has been feelin poo with warm weather

i gotta xe and a mate of mine has a vts with a chip and full exhaust i struggle to catch him till about 80 then the xe overpowers him -my corsa is stripped with no sounds but my piston rings are fukked so its not 100%

makes me laugh, when are people going to realise a 20xe is not really any faster than a gti/vts like for like, ie one driver full interior etc, you cant start comparing stripped corsas to a vts with a full interior

GET THEM TINTED SPECS OFF

both will full interiors steve, a 2.0 Corsa will be faster, easily.

rubbish not below a ton there will be nothing in it if both driven properly, look at bhp per ton it will be pretty much the same
