That you can get away with it basically, OK so Juve have been punished byt 17 points and no other serie a teams to beat, they'll be promoted (with italys stupid up/down relegation p;ayt off as they will keep the older players now more likely, AC have no been completel;y let off the hook (by all accounts) and dont get me started on fiorentina/lazio...

seems u jus do summat dodgy then appeal and all will be ok!!!

The main offenders are still have a harsh penalty IMHO.

Lazio, Fiorentina and Milan were clearly not as involved as first thought, thats why they have the right to appeal

what a joke!

Had this been in England you can be sure that the punishments would of been alot worse, and no doubt UEFA would of stepped in and banned the clubs from playing in Europe themselves for a good few years.

What also makes it a joke is that an Italian club in Seria B a few years ago (forgot which club) were found guilty of match fixing in two games. They were demoted TWO leagues, even after appeal. But now all these get is this, and the corruption was over two seasons....joke.

I had a horrible feeling they'd get away with it.

You get a worse points deduction for going into administrative receivership then you do cheating. How does that work?!!

and Juventus will be appealing again. So probably get a lighter punishment still.

Unbelievable.

Luigi - are you telilng me that what has happened here is good for the game of football? I somehow doubt it. As Ollie said above if the same thing had happened here the punishments would have been a lot harsher and would of stuck.

What's to stop them doing it again if they know they can get away with it?

I don't think it would ever (hope im right) happen here anyway..

The club board, presidents and directors are all crooks of the named Italian teams especially Juve and Milans.

i seriosuly doubt englands most successful side would be relegated.

you also are forgetting Fiorentina a few years ago were dumped right down to Serie C2

Napoli were also dumped to Serie C1, and nothing changed.

i feel the FIGC bottled it, as ruining Juventus, and Milan could ruin the future of italian football in europe.

FFS Emploi did not get the correct administrative papers off it UEFA on time, therefore they were not allowed to compete in europe, that is why Milan have been given a qualifying spot.
