Witnessed one of these beasts tonight for 10-15 mins (on my Dad's private test track), the sound it gives off is absolutely gorgeus from the 5 cylinder engine.... and in the flesh it looks 10 times better than in pics

After the "witnessing" the guy pulled up and we all chatted for even longer than we were playing for sound guy

I agree with that, it'll never have the legendary status of say, an S1 RS Turbo, but they're going in the right direction again.

They are dangerous for a 17 year old to own IMO....my Dad owning a 225bhp beast is dangerous enough and he's been driving over 30 years

I'd say its more a case of experience than age Ryan. Nice cars though but i wouldn't own one if i had the money - could think of far nice things to spend it on

Yea but a 17 year old can't have much road experience, meaning it's dangerous. TBH I don't think you can argue a 17 year old owning a Focus ST is not dangerous

depends.

if the 17 year old was anything like my mate Jon, he'd be fine.

Jon who was second in the British T Cars championship when he was 14, and has been racing formula renaults since

i think he would have been fine with an ST on the road

bit of a sweeping statement you made really Ryan

Guy at my old school had a P1 as his first car. Drives an F355 Spyder now. He's a year older than me. Lucky boy, though I always tell myself when I see him driving by that he has nothing to look forward to when he's older

Seen too many around for them to be "exclusive" enough for me to want to buy one. Look and sound nice though
