Not a Corsa I'm afraid. But it's pretty much the same car underneath, only better looking

It's a Dynamic model, which means that it has:

A 1.3 Multijet CDTi engine - the 90bhp version
A/C and a CD player
All the safety junk

Went out for another test drive a few days ago in a friends car. It's really nice to drive. However, with it being a turbo diesel it will take a bit of getting used to because it has a very small rev range and a narrow power band. So you can't just stick it into any gear and expect it to pull.

I ordered it with the new Blue and Me technology which means I can get into my car with my phone in my pocket and make phone calls and have text messages read out to me through the hands free. It also means it has a USB plug in the glove box for me to plug my MP3 player into or an external HDD full of MP3's. It plays any MP3 format file, so long as it isn't encrypted like and iTunes file...

Only bad point is it's arriving at the end of November.

And yes, I did get it in bright orange with an orange interior

I shouldn't touch it for 3 years... But it's so tempting because it does sit quite high. I recon it would look ace lowered about 60mm...

i would have thought with it being a TD it would have been good to stick in any gear and it would pull.... except when revving high

You're probably right. It was different - the first TD I have ever driven and I think it'll take some getting used to...

You get used to the brakes. It's also only because Corsa brakes are so shit. After driving the Punto I think the brakes are broken on my car

my brakes arent shite, they are just right thanks!

In my Corsa C the brakes werent super OMFG either, they were just right.

IMHO the punto brakes are just overkill smack, they need retarding a little.

I did almost brake the salesman's nose the first time I drove the car It's probably a case of personal preference. On my 1.2 B and the C I drove and also on me 2.0 with 2.0 brakes I have not been overly satisfied with them...

Yeah TD you should be able to stick in whatever gear and it'll pull

Quite the like back end and side profile but not keen on the front.

Saw one on Pulling Power today. They aren't that bad, but the Punto has the endge looks wise. I don't think that Vauxhall are using the new 1.3 CDTI in it either, they are still using the old version...
