mate just bought a new toy... is a classic shape WRX STi... with a couple of very sweet mods!!

APS cold air induction feed, APS 3" stainless full turbo back system,
APS high flow turbo outlet, IHI TY22 turbo, Greddy FMIC, Bailey Dump Valve,
HKS Iridium plugs

What sort of figures do you girls think it will make?
will it make over 350bhp on stock internals???

never heard of the turbo myself!

not sure what management... would assume its on standard fuelling unless you can re-map a scoob...?

Is that the full spec? Im guessing it still has its CATS, also i dont see any headers in there which is quite crucial for flow.

Some people get away with up to 400bhp on standard STi internals, though not advisable tbh.

I think 350bhp is quite optimistic given those mods. If its all been mapped and sensible boost, maybe 1.2 bar id go for 325/330 ish.

says turbo back exhaust so I would assume no CATS in place...
would be dubious of those figs they were!!!

what year is it m8, you can TEK3 remap MY99/00. Anything earlier and its ECU change.

reckon the turbo will be VF22 tbh.

Again he would need a walbro pump and a decent FPR along with the headers/mapping/decat to get 350.

might have been remapparaged then. If i were him though id pay a visit to the rollers and have a RR health check, see what the fuelling is like and check for DET etc. And if its not been remapped then id get it done for uk fuel.

plenty of fuel and not too much boost, STi engines are wankers and will take the piss and throw piston number 3 quicker then a heffer covered in oil can get down a slide.

IMHO his concern should be that its running healthy and any power over 300 is just a bonus.
