FOR SALE

if still available, viewing/sale can happen at trax at silverstone, will be on the CC|UK stand.

i bought the car originally in feb 2005, with one lady owner from new, it was used as a vauxhall demonstrator at a small vauxhall garage.

it has been CC|UK Car of the year 2005 voted by the members of the site, CorsaSport.co.uk Feature car May 2005, CC|UK Feature car August 2005, Redline magazine feature car April 2006, Total Vauxhall magazine feature car march 2006, and Max Power Live Top 100 Car at the 2006 show.

boring bits - full MOT can be provided if required, but it runs out in may 2007, it has 6 months tax. serviced regulary, had a full vx stamp collection, but been servicing myself with genuine parts/magnatec. car has done 56k.

brakes/suspension all in very good nick, no mechanical problems to report, just spent £170 on coolant refresh (toyota red for life), new front fan, and new themostat.

cars runs beautifully, handles like a dream, has never failed me, and is quite nippy, produced 97bhp on a rolling road day.

insurance is with adrian flux, i'm 20 yrs, 1 years NCB, ALL mods declared, and insured like for like, its £900, which i think is reasonable, elephant were more expensive on a standard car.

some details...

engine, runs sweet, pulls very well, the filter makes it very throaty, surrprises a few people how quick it can be!

suspension, usual fk coilovers, can go lower without rubbing issues, but the skirts would be too low for the speed bumps at my work.

wheels/tyres, bought these in feb 2006, NO kerbs marks, there is a small mark on the dish of one of the rear wheels, but it is hardly noticeable.

the tyres have loads of tread left.

interior, mostly done by myself, seats use proper sparco sliding subframes, so they wont snap if you prang it (please dont!), custom cage was done by fusion fabrication in york, done a cracking job, did help the handling unlike the dimma cages you get on ebay. carpet vauxhall mats are in the car, that was my winter rubber ones in the pic.

exterior, done by autotecnique in falkirk, who done my last c. paintwork is top notch, the only faults are a few stonechips on bumper, and a tiny crack around the grille area. nothing drastic. the streetline bumper is the only one i know of in the uk, and the only fibreglass part on the car. the arches are steel panels welded on and smoothed over, these wont crack a year later unlike fibreglass items. delocked, but has factory central locking as standard, with remote window closure. i have the original bill of bodywork for £4200 (excluding the parts).

ice - cracking alpine MP3 headunit, hard wired and fused to the battery correctly, alpine 6.5 components in the doors with crossovers hidden

behind door cards, and an alpine v12 hidden under the passenger seat, cant be seen in the car. the road angel is mounted where the MFD

display was, i got rid of it as track info doesnt work due to new head unit, temp didnt work - new bumper, and the time was on the road angel. trick wee mod, hidden from theieves.
