Looking at buying myself an LCD TV for bedroom, but so many out there I don't know what to get!
Liking the look of the Samsungs the most at the moment!
Must be no bigger than 30" or will make my room look like a match box!
Must be HD as be getting my PS3 end of the year
Any ideas?

Sony Bravia
WTF does getting a PS3 have to do with HDTV?

Pioneer plasma screens are superb but they may not make an HD unit that small.
Worth checking though.

I like it, been to the shops and think it looks lovely in person. Think the Sony ones look a bit bland, plus I did'nt want to spends loads of money.

unfortunately the UK is still quite behind when it comes to HD televisions, but IMO a low cost decent HD LCD will be this one, superb picture.

Tried a 32" in my room and it won't fit very well where my TV is so I've got to settle pretty much for 30" or smaller or mount a bigger one on the wall
Like the look of that one cybermonkey!
I'm going LCD shopping later today (Currys / Comet) Just to have a closer look at them

Got it today, and I love it. Not had chance to mess about with it properly yet but im impressed so far. Good picture quality, does'nt look too small which I was a bit worried about. Really happy with it anyway, just been and got an Xbox 360 tonight too so im looking forward to using the HD with that. Few pics anyway, excuse the shoddy quality used my K800i and i'm not really used to the thing yet.

Its the 26" dave, I could have got the 32" but could'nt justify the extra £200+ as i'm not really big into this stuff anyway just wanted to treat myself. It looks plenty big enough anyway as my room is'nt massive anyway.

Wel if it were me i wouldnt really, but i dont know how much the 26" weighs so may be fine. Maybe look into getting a wall mount for it if youre strapped for space?

It does'nt feel to heavy tbh, and I had my old heavy bastard TV on my dvd player before I got this so it should be fine. I thought about mounting it but thought it would feel too far away from my bed. I'll look into sorting something, cheers pal

Or as you said, just build a small shelf or something, i would be wary about balancing it on 2 dvd players
