i think i got a bit of a sticky carboretta as teh engine keeps revving when idle..... any way of free it up at all and how?

Apart from stripping the carb down as its probably caked in shoot,you could buy a can of carb cleaner and spray it on the carb around the throttle housing.

i got a corsa trip. 1.2 8V on a 1998 plate..... still sticky at times but not every time

It isnt a carb. The idle control valve probably needs cleaning.
